...cross transmutate? (Looking for year; month and day not needed)

(That is...When will computer "viruses," trojan horses, etc. begin to mutate into "living" or living organisms able to affect people?)

(Or vice versa!)

it will be more than a thousand years. Humans are essentially that sort of program but we have been evolving for 100's of millions of years. We will not have computers that approach us for about a hundred years. We might get some super computers but I believe the human brain is about 100 times the current supercomputer limit. The programming is a totally different problem. By the time that computers reach that level, they will have controls like an on/off switch that will keep us dominant. We can prevent it by controlling access to rewritable memory.

Interesting question. What worries me more, is us losing our sense of being human and becoming computers ourselves. If we start being able to replace body parts, organs etc. with bio-engineered artificial parts, it's only a matter of time before we lose our authentic selves.

Also, how long will it be before we start implanting our cell phones into our ears instead of having to carry them? Look around, people are getting pretty comfortable with those blue tooth's. ;)

Now for your question, I think it would take many, many years....actually, I don't see it happening at all. I can see us having clones or making robots that eventually develop a consciousness of their own though.

There is a small gap between AI and true AI/human function. The problem lies in not how big the gap is, but that it exists. Trying to bridge the gap, to make a true AI, is years away. The AI is only as good as it's programmer and the parameters that are laid down. Yes, perhaps the programmer is not as smart as the AI, but the parameters he lays down have limits and as far as I am aware... the AI is not able to create its own parameters.

That is why several AI's crashed during Y2K. *shoulder shrug*

i think of you are able to relatively get some style of implementation on your physique yet this technologies has no longer being mastered yet, on the grounds that curiously you are able to run out of battery. in simple terms wait some greater years whilst that style of technologies is mastered. As a techniques on your eyes, I don;t think of you additionally may cause them to act like exhibit exhibit screen the two, till you placed some style of chips glued on suitable on your eyes, which could be undergo incredibly uncomfortable, you would be greater advantageous off which incorporate your unique eyes. a GPS-enabled chip, for GPS monitoring of persons, does no longer yet exist — specially with the aid of problems with ability intake and antenna overall performance. yet another hurdle dealing with this variety of GPS application is the undeniable fact that when the implant gets the GPS documents from GPS satellites, how does it report its area to the exterior international? microchip implants are at present getting used for some hospitals as a potential to maintain song of their sufferers scientific historic previous. There could be a number of this technologies being progressed via scientists, all you're able to do precise now's speculate, yet till as we communicate no longer something like it is offered. Sorry no implantation on your techniques.

As soon as someone figures out how to make money out of the anti-virus method of dealing with it.

I'm not sure but I do worry. When computers overcome our ability to unplug them.We will soon be at their mercy.
