Basically all mammals are genetically similar to humans. But some more so than others like dolphins and the great apes, i.e. Chimpanzees and gorillas of which we are 98% genetically identical.

Chimpanzees........their DNA is most closely related to humans. Don't know about the genetics. DNA carries the genetic information.

Below is a place to search.

Morris Goodman, PhD, has already proven with non-coding DNA sequences that chimpanzees are closest in kinship to humans rather than to gorillas, evolutionary traditionalists say chimps and humans are functionally markedly different and therefore belong on different branches of the family tree.

New analysis show humans and chimpanzees to be 99.4 percent identical in the functionally-important DNA, which codes for proteins and is shaped by natural selection. This provides further evidence for revisions in our genus classification. Dr. Goodman proposes that all living apes should occupy the family Hominidae (which currently contains only humans), and that both humans and chimpanzees should occupy the genus Homo.

similarity is relative. Monkeys are the closest. Then I guess all mamals are genetically similar. After that comes eukariotes.

While studying DNA, I came across an interesting article from TIME magazine, about how Human DNA is oddly similar to Canine DNA. Amazingly like 95% similar. Maybe that's why they are called, "Man's best friend"?

Chimpanzees have 56 less genes than humans.

i'll not give the obvious but rather this which is not well known... a tree.. look at the chromosome make up and function as related to humans

all things are. We are all built from the most basic of cells . These exist in all beings. We are all one.
